Andaz Gold Coast takes its first guests on 13 November 2026, the first arrival date Hyatt’s booking site accepts. It is the Andaz brand’s first hotel in Australia, set in Broadbeach next to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, and its opening offer starts at A$360 a night.

Every room is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, looking over the Broadbeach skyline or back to the hinterland, and comes with a complimentary minibar, a Nespresso machine, Byredo amenities and a Dyson hairdryer. The rooms are pale timber and soft neutrals; Chromecast-enabled TVs mean guests can stream from their own phones.

What a night costs

Hyatt is selling the opening through a Grand Opening Offer of 20% off, on sale until 21 December for stays from 14 November 2026 to 30 June 2027. World of Hyatt members take a further 5% off.

On 1 November, the offer priced a standard king room for two at A$360 on Tuesday 17 November and A$608 on Saturday 14 November. Saturday costs A$248 more for the same room, so a midweek stay is the obvious way in. The 55-square-metre Signature Lounge room was A$560 on the Tuesday and A$808 on the Saturday.

There is also a Gold Coast Escape package: two nights, an upgrade to the next room category when one is free at check-in, and a A$100 food and drink credit for each night, which can be spent in any of the four venues or on in-room dining.

Rooms and suites

The hotel has 202 rooms and suites on floors six to 21 of the precinct’s second tower. Standard king rooms run to 32 to 35 square metres; the suites add lounge areas, deep soaking tubs and double vanities. The Andaz Residence Suite has its own entertainer’s terrace, and its bathroom puts a round green tub on a raised plinth beside the window.

Four places to eat and drink

Executive chef Matthew Bentley runs all four venues. Nove, the Mediterranean restaurant, is built around fire-led cooking and shared plates from breakfast to dinner, with Rafael Dias as chef de cuisine. Dias has spent more than a decade in Gold Coast kitchens, including The Star Gold Coast. Vista Lounge serves light bites and drinks through the day, and Verde Bar is a small cocktail bar for the hour before sunset.

The Andaz Pool Club fills the level-six pool deck, with eight private cabanas that visitors as well as hotel guests can hire. Opening the cabanas to non-guests makes the pool club a day out for locals, not only a hotel pool.
